The ‘Meridiane’ collection of home accessories is inspired by the theatrical suggestion of the shadows of decorative elements projected onto architectural spaces.
White surfaces are typical of several Classical and Renaissance architectures and are reproduced here with handmade ceramic. These canvases are perfect for painting the elongated shapes that the sun draws on the ground at different times of the day.
The box with lid 22:15 of the ‘Meridiane’ collection can be the container where you find a candy to relax after dinner, as well as the storage in which to put the jewelry on the night table before going to bed.
This object is hand made in refined white ceramic and hand painted with details in 24k gold, platinum or copper. It is a decorative piece that can be placed in any room of the house and give it a touch of uniqueness. Inspired by Casa Malaparte in Capri, its peculiarity is the curved wall on the lid that projects its own shadow which is painted on the surface.

About the Brand
The LATOxLATO design workshop was founded in 2018 by Francesco Breganze de Capnist and Virginia Valentini. Wanderers by calling and Italians by birth, Francesco is originally from Vicenza and Virginia is from Bologna. After graduating from Milan Polytechnic, they began working in the United States. A married couple, they are partners in work and in life, sharing a deep creative and inquisitive bond. This experience abroad, which they continue alternately with their work in Italy, inspires them to invent out-of-the-box designs. Their passion for their roots, for Made in Italy artisanship and the rich heritage of Italian art and architecture blends together with an international and multicultural attitude. This gave rise to the concept of LATOxLATO, which creates objects according to an idea of contemporary luxury. Natural and precious materials, 100% Made in Italy craftsmanship and unusual forms inspired by the rich heritage of Italian art and architecture.
